CX7 Champion Brings Adventure Race to Koh Samui

Bangkok (Thailand) – July 11, 2015 – Participants in the inaugural CX7 adventure race will partake in a once in a lifetime weekend that combines a mixture of sports, endurance, challenge and entertainment. The event will be held Sept. 25--27 at the picturesque, 5 star InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort. The multi disciplinary race will challenge adventure seekers both mentally and physically, taking them through an exceedingly memorable and adventurous journey.

The event anticipates participation of approximately 500 Thai and international adventure seekers plus their families. Teams of two racers will compete in one of the two designated courses – ‘Green’ for active people and ‘Black’ for more extreme athletes. Both courses are set in the jungle and surrounding areas of scenic Koh Samui. The race will include seven exciting and uniquely designed adventures, each incorporating specialized disciplines that are both challenging and compelling. The adventures include earth, motion, water, strength, courage, mental and endurance.

The race will take place on Sept. 26 and will be held in two stages – morning and afternoon. After the race, participants and their families will enjoy special events and an awards ceremony hosted at the InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort. During these nightly programs, there will be live entertainment, BBQ buffet and a chance for participants to celebrate their accomplishments amongst family, friends and competitors.

An additional program will also be designed specially for corporations and their staff. This will be a fantastic opportunity for team members to race against one another, boost moral and build relationships.

The event is organized by Vilnius Challenge Association. In order to make the weekend even more memorable, they have teamed up with Midas Communications International Co., Ltd. to oversee public relations and event coordination. With over seven years of experience and a perfect safety record, Vilnius Challenge Association has a history of organizing sporting events for up to several thousand participants.
